Three for Three
The 76ers endured a turbulent flight south to take on New Orleans.
Tonight the Sixers played a short-handed Hornets squad, who were without Chris Paul and rookie Marcus Thornton. Thaddeus Young played with pride and enthusiasm in front of family and friends to lead the team with 19-points…while Andre Iguodala helped pace the surging squad by adding 14-points, 9 rebounds, and 7 assists for a 101-94 Philadelphia win.
With the victory the 76ers completed a season sweep of New Orleans for the first time within the last 3-years…and it also marked their first 3-game winning streak, as they look to make it four tomorrow night against Houston. Game time is scheduled for 8:30PM EST.
