Sneaker Collection
Andre Iguodala wears Nike Basketball sneakers professionally as a member of the Philadelphia 76ers, so it’s only natural for him to have an affinity for them off the court.
Since his days at Lanphier High School, in Springfield, Illinois…Andre has played in and collected numerous pairs of footwear. From the signature shoes endorsed by his childhood idol Anfernee “Penny” Hardaway, to the “Flint” Jordan IX that he wore faithfully, while making a name for himself both as a basketball player and fashion forward man about town.
Iguodala is a Nike athlete, however he continues to look for new sneakers. Sometimes in his free time, he will shop at various boutiques, as well as read Internet sites such as Nike Talk. His latest purchase were the Nike Air Yeezy…the newest shoe from artist Kanye West.

Andre, Mr. Iguodala. . . . which ever one you prefer. My name is Fatuma Ali. I’m a junior at Jefferson High School in Bloomington, MN. I could talk to you about my whole life/past…but the main reason I’m here is I’m hoping you actually reply…Me and my sister (senior @ jeff.) started a group at my school called Project Peace (formerly Code Peace). It’s a 100% non-profit organization. The groups main objectives are to raise money and awareness for the orphans of the war(s) in the middle east. Mainly in the Gaza Strip, Iraq, Iran, etc. we’re about to host a county-wide basketball tournament and maybe it will even go state-wide. we want to host the final championship game @ the Target Center and since the game will only last about 30 min we want to turn it into an entire day of events with some live entertainment. We’re trying to get the jabbawockeez to come and do it but i think everyone wants to wait and see if it’s an event worth coming to which means seeing what big names are going to be there. If you don’t want to do this it’s cool but I just need an answer ASAP and maybe you could do something else to help out? just reply to my email . if you don’t give me an answer i’m liable to keep pestering you =) we really wanna do this before the season starts so if you could reply ASAP that would be great. please consider it. If you have little siblings or kids of your own, think about if this was them. and take a look at this video. it’s the exact reason me and my sis are doing this.

btw did i mention the Target Center won’t donate their services to us for free without legit proof of actual entertainment and athletes. AKA something that will garner real interest. so PLEASE help us
